Outputs  

Management and design of solutions for MCAL (software, network, infrastructure, process)
Management of the development of common or enterprise services, such as Web Services
Management and development of Integration Services between the respective systems
Work with the Enterprise architecture and Strategy to ensure solutions meet MCAL requirements and standards
Responsible for the overall solution delivery including overseeing it all through to the production.
Collaborate with the respective third parties, MCA Internal devisions to define and manage an IT roadmap
Work with respective parties, to define optimal IT structures to ensure a speedy delivery into MCAL
Document, implement and maintain the necessary Application, Integration, component, deployment, support architectures / designs / diagrams
Define and implement the process for solution delivery
Produce solution cost and time estimates
Ensure that the architecture for a specific solution is developed and implemented as per original requirement and design
Perform code reviews and design reviews with respective parties
Management of business analysis and functional specification for the MCAL divisions (including but not limited to Marketing, Finance, Operations, group related projects, Optinet)
Participate on Group or Strategic projects, as defined by PMO and Strategy
Obtain budget approval & conduct ROI assessments
Manage/participate in RFPs where applicable
Manage contract negotiations when requested
Provide relevant on-going feedback to stakeholders & customers
Conduct gap analysis studies
Manage and develop employees
Management of dependencies of the respective companies and divisions
Evaluate deviations to the solution architecture against a defined Enterprise Architecture framework
Collaborate with other solution delivery teams to achieve best possible solution implementations
Provide technical skills and expertise to business and/or technical projects
Perform feasibility analysis / studies on potential IT solutions (custom applications,
software packages, databases, network equipment, servers, storage, etc.)
Assist the capacity management function in the planning of Infrastructure and Network capacity for new or modified services

Education & Experience  

Bachelor’s degree
Qualifications of an IT nature, eg CISSP, ITIL,
Minimum of 10+ years’ experience in Technology strategy and Solution development environment
Technology roadmap, industry trends and solution best practice
Vendor solutions
Business Case and ROI principles
Commercial pricing structures
People Management
Architecture Methodologies (eTOM, TOGAF, Zachman etc)
Project Management Methodologies
Knowledge of Pay-TV industry and industry trends and best practice
